IT equipment producer Hewlett-Packard (HP) will invest 200 million euros over the next five years in the development of a business center that the company opened yesterday in Pipera near Bucharest with Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu in attendance. The center will provide financial and administrative support to HP partners and clients in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The company’s representatives say HP set out to expand its service portfolio through the new business center with the help of the 1,200 people to be hired by the end of 2007.
