"Real GDP growth is forecast to slow to 4.5% in 2006 as a result of a policy tightening, which should reduce the current- account deficit to about 7.6% of GDP in the same year, from an estimated 9.3% of GDP in 2005. Real GDP growth is expected to pick up to 5.2% in 2007, driven by strong investment and export growth."
