TIBERIUS VADAN


Tiberius Vadan is a Manager in Alvarez & Marsal’s Corporate Strategy practice, where he brings more than six years of management consulting and investment banking experience. As a consultant to Board of Directors and executives of large and small multinationals and private equity funds, he develops and executes corporate strategies. In the area of strategy formulation, Mr. Vadan’s primary areas of expertise include market sizing, segmentation, and entry; business and product portfolio reshaping; acquisition and joint venture strategy development, target screening, and due diligence. In the area of strategy execution, his expertise includes strategic plan development, merger integration, supply chain optimization (including cross-border outsourcing), cost structure rationalization, corporate and organization design, and process optimization.


Mr. Vadan has developed and executed strategies which have resulted in significant growth, and / or cost structure optimization for more than seventeen multinational clients in Financial Services (Credit Cards, Transaction Processing, Retail and Investment Banking, Insurance and Asset Management), Manufacturing (Aerospace, Defense, Consumer Products, and Consumer Electronics), Pharmaceuticals, and Technology (Software Development, and Hardware Development and Manufacturing).


Engagement experiences have included working for the corporate office and subsidiaries of Lockheed Martin, Bristol-Myers Squibb, JPMorgan Chase, First Data, Accenture, Sony, Kenneth Cole, Advance Group, Nationwide Insurance, TA Associates, Hicks Muse, Heritage Partners, Coliseum Investments and others.


Mr. Vadan also spent part of his professional career as an Investment Banker in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice at Morgan Stanley. Prior to A&M, he was a Manager with Deloitte Consulting’s Corporate Strategy.


Mr. Vadan is a published writer and a native of Romania. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and has completed undergraduate degrees in Finance, Management Information Systems and Business and Government Affairs from Georgetown University and Belmont University.
