The first tractors manufactured by the Chinese company that invested in the town of Rasnov were presented yesterday by Hoyo Agricultural Machinery Equipment . The investment made by the Chinese firm tops USD 20 M and will create some 500 jobs in Brasov County. The company announced it will aim its tractors at the markets in China, Russia, USA, Canada, Europe and SE Asia. In a first stage, 150 workers have been hired in Rasnov, but their number will soar to 500 as production gets expanded. Romanian farmers who will buy these tractors will enjoy a bonus program and will receive free consulting in view of developing their business. “Hoyo is part of Shantuo Agricultural Machinery Equipment Company (Jining, Shandong
China), the leader of the European market of quality tractors. Eight types of tractors will be produced in Rasnov, with models being chosen in line with the answer of the market,” company spokesman Gabriel Stan announced.
